As always, this year’s educational sessions at the AHCA/NCAL annual convention are a strong slate of programming targeted toward the issues facing long-term and post-acute care providers during the main convention programming days. In addition, a variety of separately ticketed constituency-specific education opportunities are available. Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 18 CEUs by participating in the main convention programming.
Relax and Recharge!
Besides taking advantage of the educational offerings, attendees are encouraged to visit the exhibit hall where they can learn from more than 350 business partners about new products, technologies and services for professional development, facilities, nursing care and more. Complimentary lunch will be served each day to all attendees in the exhibit hall. The hall also offers a relaxing interactive lounge where attendees can recharge their electronic devices.
Attendees will also have a chance to attend the convention’s popular Gala Dinner and Show. The must-see event provides an excellent opportunity to network with new friends, celebrate the end of a successful convention and simply have fun. KC and the Sunshine Band will headline the event.
Explore San Antonio
There are two special tours that convention attendees can sign up for when they register. Both offer a chance to explore San Antonio and learn more about its history and culture. The Riverwalk Cruise lets attendees experience the San Antonio Riverwalk on a privately chartered River Cruise while enjoying many of San Antonio’s renowned landmarks. The tour of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park (one of the country's few National Parks within an urban setting) will tell the early story of San Antonio and European expansion in the New World. Participants can explore the largest and most restored of the Missions, Mission San Jose. Established in 1720, it is known as the "Queen of the Missions" and is the masterpiece of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
