This year's AONE (American Organization of Nurse Executives) 2016 Annual Meeting should be no exception, with more than 2000 of the brightest nurse executives and leaders in patient care from top facilities around the U.S. heading to Ft. Worth, TX for the AONE (American Organization of Nurse Executives) 2016 Annual Meeting.
The theme of the 2016 AONE Annual Meeting is ‘Inspiring Leaders,’ and the conference will take place at Ft. Worth Convention Center from March 30th through April 2nd.
While enjoying the exciting dual metropolis of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in numerous CE-accredited educational sessions, thought leader sessions, and roundtable discussions, as well as poster presentations and pre-conference workshops. Thursday's Opening Keynote will feature renowned speaker Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, author of the newly released book, Rising Strong, and two other #1 New York Times Bestsellers: Daring Greatly and The Gifts of Imperfection. Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, and has spent the past thirteen years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. She is also the Founder and CEO of The Daring Way and COURAGEworks – an online learning community that offers eCourses, workshops, and interviews for individuals and organizations ready for braver living, loving, and leading.
Other noted speakers scheduled to appear include Anton J. Gunn, MSW, Chief Diversity Officer & Executive Director of Community Health Innovation at the Medical University of South Carolina, Richard Pollack, President and Chief Executive Officer at the American Hospital Association, Vijay Gupta, Founder of Street Symphony, TED Senior Fellow and Mental Health Advocate, Sean Clark, RN, PhD, FAAN, Professor and Associate Dean, Undergraduate Program, Connell School of Nursing.
In addition to the dynamic sessions, attendees will get to continue conversations during networking events, and experience the bustling AONE exhibit hall and learn about new products, services and technologies that are revolutionizing the landscape of patient care.
